Single or not, Valentines is always a good excuse to get dressed up and go out for a drink, or stay in for some pizza with your best pals (aka Galentines day as we've come to know and love). And with that in mind, I was recently invited down to Coliseum Shopping Park, Ellesmere Port, to have a look around and get my look sorted for the big day, even if I am just going for drinks with the girls.

Of course, you can go for whatever look you fancy (lol) for Valentines or Galentines day, but the typical pieces that just scream date night are silky fabrics like satin and velvet - perfect timing for the satin midi skirt trend - and a bit of sparkle to dress up your existing outfits. Go as sexy or as casual as you like, because as long as you're feeling good in your Valentines outfit, that's all that matters.

I popped into Outfit, a store I don't tend to visit too often (hello city centre living) but after this trip I will definitely be heading back, especially considering Coliseum Shopping Park was just a 30 minute drive away. Seriously, I did not know it was so close. There's a huge Boots, toy stores, JD, Next, H&M, River Island and a heap of restaurants the other side of the car park - hence the Zizzis snap - but I admit I spent way over an hour in Outfit alone.

I even covered a good old try-on session on my Instagram and walked away with a few new pieces I can't wait to style up for a night out. These midi skirts were made for this time of year - perfect with tights and boots for work but fab with a pair of heels for date night. Admittedly the denim boilersuit is more of a relaxed date vibe, but these are going to be a huge 2019 trend. I ended up walking away with this gorgeous burnt orange colour t-shirt, glam af beaded bag and of course a few pairs of statement earrings to really glam up that t-shirt for a night out. Relaxed date dress code nailed if you ask me.

And here's me skipping off with my new outfit, suspiciously on my way to the travel agent... Ah my two loves right next to each other, clothes and travel. What bliss. I'll also definitely be heading back to Coliseum Shopping Park for a longer day out -  there's mini golf, trampolining and a cinema over the road. Oh, and not to mention Cheshire Oaks retail outlet is just around the corner, so next time you're there, make sure to pay a visit to Coliseum...

Good vibes guys ✌🏼
