I'm a sucker for maxi shirts worn unbuttoned during the summer months. They look great over a bikini on the beach or even a crop top and jeans, or, as I'm wearing here, a good old slip dress. This was one of those thrown together outfits that I didn't plan in advance, which is rare for me, but it was only to pop to the shops, which ended up with me and Beth thrifting and drinking bourbon milkshakes - delish!

You guys know I always dress for myself and nobody else, in a way I don't care what people think, but I'm also fascinated by different people's reactions. I love how a few pieces of cloth (and straw in this case) can provoke different reactions from different people. I have to admit, I felt pretty good strutting down the street in this outfit while the majority of my neighbourhood looked as boring as ever, but I was aware of the odd glances I was getting. One boy even stuck his head out of his car to shout "EEEE!" at me. It did make me laugh though, particularly because this is definitely not one of my wacky outfits! Have you ever had any strange reactions to your outfits?
