Well hello, it's been a little while, hasn't it? In fact, it's been about two months since I last sat down to write a blog post or shoot an outfit, and it's feeling a little weird trying to get back into the swing of things. Ever since I came back from Shanghai, which was a trip of a lifetime that I will hopefully blog about soon, I seem to have lost all sense of creativity. I haven't been in the mood to post to Instagram, do any drawings or sit down and write, but I still missed it. Thankfully, on this very sunny Sunday, inspiration has struck, I'm feeling like my creative self again and I'm back with another outfit post.

Yesterday I popped into town with my mum to stock up on a few essentials and ~shock~ take some outfit pictures. In preparation for next month's trip to Sri Lanka, my mum has made me these cool linen pants, and I couldn't wait until our holiday to wear them, so took the opportunity of this beautiful weather we're having to give them their debut. I've been loving burnt orange for months now, as you know, and they just go perfectly with these seventies shades. For work, I can pair these with a white blouse or simple t-shirt, but seeing as it's sunny, I thought it was time to bring out my Topshop polka dot crop top.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember when I bought the matching pair of culottes to these, which I still haven't had the chance to shoot, but a few weeks later I saw the matching top in store and had to complete the set. I haven't taken this top off since I bought it, so for £22 it was money well spent. It's ideal for layering over a plain white t-shirt or throwing on with a pair of jeans for that classic 'jeans and a nice top' dress code.

For my first post back I'll keep it short and sweet, but I hope you stick around to see what's coming up next. There will definitely be some posts on Shanghai, plus loads more travel content coming up in the next few months as I'm heading off to Sri Lanka and back to the fabulous Las Vegas. If you want to see what I'm planning on buying for my holiday wardrobe, keep your eyes peeled on my shop page.

Good vibes guys ✌🏼
