Liverpool style blogger wearing burned orange vintage Mary Quant beret, orange tint aviator sunglasses with black metal frames and mustard chenille jumper

If you don't know by know (and if you follow me on Twitter, Instagram or know me in real life, you'll definitely already know this) I am obsessed with That 70s Show. I started watching it on Netflix just before Christmas and I've been watching at least two episodes a night ever since. I love everything about it, but the style is something else. If I could have Jackie's, Hyde's and Fez's wardrobes, that would be great, thanks. So when I spied these totally Hyde-esque shades on ASOS, they went straight into my basket. I appreciate these 70s inspired sunglasses are total marmite, but I already know a few of you guys on Instagram are loving them just as much as I am. Who can blame us? Whenever I put them on I feel like I've stepped back in time 40 years (sometimes that's actually not far off from the truth).

I was putting together this outfit in the morning, and felt the mustard chenille jumper and orange aviators were a good, seventies inspired combo thanks to the warm tones. Then I threw on my vintage Mary Quant beret and it was a total match made in heaven. As I mentioned in my recent post 'new additions', I've always been a bit wary of wearing orange seeing as I'm so pale, but lately I've really been embracing it. From my coat, to my new bag, to my beret and now my new seventies sunglasses. I'm feeling a burned orange jumper, like the one on my shop page, should be next..

Another thing on my wishlist, although I'll probably wait until I find the perfect vintage piece, will be a flared suit just like one of Fez's. Bonus points if it's velvet. Give me flares, give me oversized collars, give me warm tones, give me stripes and groovy typefaces, I want it all. I'm such a sucker for all things seventies lately, I've even been listening to 70s rock playlists non-stop on Spotify. I'm honestly just a few days away from getting Farrah Fawcett hair. Somebody stop me. Or don't.

There are so many elements of 70s style, some more popular on the high street than others, but what are you loving at the moment? Corduroy is a huge thing for me right now, I'm searching eBay listings by the day! Are there any vintage stores, online or off that you can recommend for someone obsessed with That 70s Show? Or is that a little too niche.. Who am I kidding, nothing is too niche on the internet. Burgundy faux leather ever so slightly square toe knee high boots with a slim fit? Yeah, I'll get you some day.
