You know you're starting to get more into lifestyle blogging when you come home from an event with a bag full of Kilner jars. Last Thursday Kilner held a lovely event for us Liverpool bloggers at Rex, the place I talked about in my last post, with food from Bakchich (oh my lord the avocado humous) and treats from The Chocolate Cellar (who's part of the Merseyside Etsy Team too!).
You might think 'what can you possibly do at an event about jars'? And you wouldn't be in the wrong for thinking that, but let me tell you, there's a hell of a lot of stuff you can do with a Kilner jar. We had infused drinks (the cranberry gin was delish), salads, spiralizers, snacks and freakshakes. I have officially had my first freakshake - thank god it was a small one, there's no way I could handle a bigger one, no matter how good it goes down on Instagram!
The Kilner team were great to chat to, and thanks to them we found out Kilner is actually a Liverpool based company, who knew? It's fitting then, that Kilner are currently running a pop up shop inside Rex, just in time for Christmas. Got a Pinterest obsessed mum to shop for? Or someone with a new home who might appreciate some pretty kitchen bits? Then you know where to go. But hurry, the pop up shop closes this Wednesday.
p.s. I'm currently really busy with uni work, but it should slow down soon, so expect lots of new posts and videos, subscribe to my channel!
Good vibes guys ✌
