Over the past year, particularly the past few months, I've been loving Zara's bright, almost youthful, image. This shirt isn't crisp or sleek like a lot of Zara's offerings, but has been a great addition to my wardrobe, looking good with jeans, a line skirts or thrown over these striped culottes. Normally having a plain shirt can make me feel a little boring - I blame it on having to wear a school uniform for 14 years - but the frayed edges on this make it feel a little more, well, cool.
You might recognise these culottes from my last outfit post, seeing as I've been wearing them a lot lately, as well as another pair of striped pants with a paper bag waist. Can you tell I like stripes? In fact I can't remember the last time I wore my black skinny jeans, which is a bit weird seeing as they might as well have been glued onto my legs at one point. The sandals are also kind of weird for me, I bought them on a whim a couple of months back as an alternative to heels for a night out, but now the weather is warming up they're seeing the light of day. What do you think; too trendy or just enough?
