I've blabbed on about it enough now, and here is my post describing my lovely few days down in London for my shoot with more magazine. Last week, I packed my bag several bags and set off for London. After getting caught up in some sort of gang war in a traffic jam in the middle of Enfield, me, my mum and dad arrived at our home for the next few days, the travelodge in London docklands. After a strong vodka or two to get over the traumatic welcome to London it was an early night for me, as I was up at the crack of dawn to prepare for the shoot. And let me tell you, that was no easy task using a hotel-provided hairdryer.

Upon arriving in Shoreditch, we found a cute little cafe where who else but VV Brown was just a few seats away. Well, I'm 90% sure it was her. Whoever it was, she was definitely famous and wearing urban outfitters flatforms. Yeah, it was her. The location was exactly what you'd expect for a fashion shoot, a big, 'shabby chic' (cringe) room filled with rails of clothes, cameras, bobby pins and copies of more magazine. I had to pinch myself just to check that I wasn't dreaming. I can't express just how nice everyone was either, the girls at more were really welcoming and of course looking very trendy. The hair and make up team also did an amazing job. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get down the names of the products used but there was definitely Bobbi Brown eyeshadow which I was sooo impressed with. Just look at all those products!

5 of us had to style an outfit based around a pink and red printed yumi shirt. It wasn't something I'd usually wear, but I sure had an idea how to style it. On a quick run to tesco, my saviour of a mum grabbed their red trouser suit from F&F. I paired this with my tacky but fabulous silver/gold platforms from new look and we also added a white belt and neon necklace.

The issue is being released within the next few weeks and I'll be in the 'how would you wear' section, so keep an eye out (I'll be tweeting when the issue is out @allie_davies) and let me know what you think!
